So let me see... here are some questions for you:
- Do you often come back to Vietnam?
- What is your taste in music? Could you name some of your favorite songs and artists?

About your first question, I rarely come to VN. My taste in music is rather limited because I like mostly easy listening music and classical music. I am, however, a Beatles-forever fan, and I like all Beatles songs. I also like the Carpenters, Carole King, Simon and Garfunkel, Joan Baez, to name a few. I like French songs, and I am a fan of Francois Hardy, Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour etc. C'est le temps de l'amour (It's time for love) and Tous les garcons et les filles de mon age (all the boys and girls of my age) are my favorite French songs performed by Francois Hardy.

When I first caught your nickname in this forum, I wonder it is an abbv. of your name or not ? It's so short and it can be in my mind immediately. I'd like to say thanks for your great support and hope that you'll be healthy, successful in your career and in life.

1. Do you like " Gold Songs " [ ie. old songs before 1975, I guess you're in C.A ( maybe in Los Angeles-Riverside-Orange County ) ] ?

It's not about how many hours of sleep a day but whether I've had a good rest from sleep every day then the answer is a definite "Yes". I sleep very easily, on trains, on planes, on buses, in a room full of people, in noisy dorms etc. The US is my home country, and yes, I have traveled abroad many times, to practically all parts of the world except South America, Africa, the North and South Poles. I love photography and always carry a digital camera with me whenever I go out of town.

I am an American of Vietnamese descent. I communicate primarily in English at work and to all outsiders. With the help of Google and a good Viet-Viet dictionary, I can understand practically all written Vietnamese.

I must be one of the very few people that do not watch TV on a regular basis. Rather, I would just watch DVD movies and recorded TV shows on my computer and get all the news on line from the major networks and newspapers. I used to watch Masterpiece Theater and National Geographic Specials. Some of my favorite TV shows have been Star Trek (the original episodes - all reruns and available on DVD), Hawaii Five-O (the original series- available on DVD), Mission Impossible (the original series -available on DVD) etc.

What impresses me about the forum is the participation and the enthusiasm for learning from the members.

As for sports, I used to know every statistics about baseball players and college football games when I was a university student because that's how we students talked over the meals. I used to play a lot of table tennis. Now, the only spectator sports that I still occasionally watch are American professional football and college football, some Hockey games and all the major Tennis Grandslam Opens such as the French Open, Wimbledon, the U.S Open and the Australian Open. I don't watch soccer and don't know much about the soccer teams.
